These series of drawings form part of my Ugly Art Movement. This is a technique I use to make ugly art and loosen up my drawings. I love the results.
They are all A5 in size (14.8cm wide x 21cm high) on 200gsm mixed media paper. I used Art Spectrum pigmented ink in indigo applied in lots of layers with a glass dip pen.
Each layer builds all the different tones and a picture emerges!
